SafeHavenZ Privacy Policy

SafeHavenZ ("we", "us", "the app") is a live-service gaming event aggregator with a wellness companion and avatar features. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using SafeHavenZ you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in with Apple, Google, or email and password, we collect your email address and, where provided, your name. If you use Sign in with Apple's "Hide My Email," we only receive Apple's private relay address.
Profile and in-app content. Your chosen display name, Guardian avatar, the games you choose to track, and your in-app preferences.
Device identifier. If you use the app as a guest (without an account), we generate a device-specific identifier so the app can function. Guest data stays on your device and is not stored on our servers.
Push notification token. If you enable notifications, we store a push token so we can send you the event alerts you opt into.

How we use your information

To provide and operate the app — signing you in, saving your tracked games and preferences, and syncing them across sessions.
To deliver the push notifications and event alerts you choose to receive.
To maintain account security and manage your account.

What we do not do

We do not use third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs that collect your data.
We do not sell your personal information.

Third-party services

We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Messaging) to operate the app and store your account data on our behalf, and Apple's Sign in with Apple for authentication. Their handling of data is governed by their own policies:

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app: Settings → Delete Account. This removes your account, tracked games, preferences, notifications, and profile. Guest data is local to your device and is removed when you clear it or delete the app.

Children's privacy

SafeHavenZ is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Your data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure and protected by access controls that restrict each user's data to that user.

Your rights

You can access and update your profile information in the app, and delete your account and data as described above. For other requests, contact us below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
